The driver of the HGV (silver trailer) braked in a hurry to avoid running up the back of the green trailer. The steel bar broke through the bulkhead and had to be repositioned.

did he not strap his load properly,or was it just too much force under braking?

Bit of both Cliff I would imagine. Although the trailer looks next to empty, weight wise it is just about fully loaded :shock:

What the camera doesnt show is the one hundred chiefs on scene in the way and the one indian doing the work :roll:

yeah, traffic wombles think they look clever in their 4x4 and hi vis jackets. :!:
