We attended this job on the M20 with both rotators. The driver of the artic had gone off the road, through the crash barrier and down the embankment. The vehicle came to rest on its side in a drainage ditch just next to some transformers. It was laden but fortunately the load didn't take the vehicle to its max. weight.

Cables etc were set up and the vehicle righted with the 1075. The NRC was turned around and provided the winching effort req. to recover the unit and trailer back to the hard shoulder. It was supported throughout by the 1075.

Severe damage had been sustained by both unit and trailer and quite a bit of modification was required before they could be recovered back to base.
