Not sure how he ended up here, but the van took out a long length of crash barrier before clearing the underpass and ended up facing the wrong way in trees, some distance off the road. It was still loaded with milk and food, it was too far to reach with a hiab. We just did the lifting as an assistance to a neighboring operator. The driver of the van somehow managed to get himself up onto the hard shoulder at 05:30am, apparently he had a broken pelvis and broken leg!
