Tanker slid off concrete track

Post by MGC » Fri Mar 11, 2016 9:52 pm

This vehicle was making a delivery to a farm, which involved coming up a narrow concrete track. He lost traction whilst passing another vehicle and his tanker slid sideways. All axles were on the ground and the vehicle was still heavily laden. If you look at the images, you can see some fairly substantial fence posts against the valves, pipework etc on the N/S of the vehicle. The 1075 was set up to lift the N/S via its wheels, the drag winch providing effort to move the vehicle sideways. Once the rear was out, the driver was able to reverse his tanker back onto the track.
