London Low Emission Zone

From the 3rd of January 2012 the emission rules when entering London will be changing. The LEZ covers most of Greater London and to be able to drive within this area without paying a daily charge, your vehicle must meet certain emissions standards which have been laid down by Transport For London.

• LEZ Applies to the majority of vehicles excepts for cars and motorbikes
• The system operates for 24hrs a day 365 days per year
• The M25 motorway, where it intercepts the zone is not part of the LEZ
• To avoid paying the daily charge, your vehicle will need to be compliant
• The LEZ is not the same as the Congestion Charging Zone
